Article
This is my most favorite quote from this article:
"He is convinced that he is doing the right thing," said Fred S.
Zeidman, a longtime friend from Texas who spoke to Bush before a
recent speech at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum. "He said to me he
is not going to allow public opinion to interfere with what he thinks
is right for the United States."
Is anyone else really sick of this man being allowed to run amok
completely unchecked? We need to start acting like we are citizens of
a democracy, otherwise we don't deserve to be living in one. We have
remained silent for too long, letting others decide and defend our
rights and look what has happened. We no longer have a BIll of Rights,
our civil liberties have been all but stamped out and our allies are
no longer sympathetic. Who do you honestly think would come to our
defense if - god forbid- the "war" came to us? Who?
We need to speak up and let our voices be heard. Contact our
representatives. It takes maybe five minutes a day to send an email
blast to our elected officials.
Here is a link to congress.org you can enter your zip and write your officials. So simple a "surrender monkey" can do it!

May Day in Minneapolis...
I'm going home again for May Day- well, the celebration anyway not the actual day. I will be shooting the parade and ceremony for my Streaming Media class as well. I'm not even an ametuer director- I possess only a cave person's skill level, but I like to do it so...
Practice and Patience.
The event is something truly to behold. I was stunned when I was introduced to it last year. I still can't believe I resided in Mpls for so many years without even knowing this incredible celebration took place every year!
Dissidents, activists, artists, actors and others come together to celebrate everything traditional about May Day. The creative expression of this ancient holiday from so many different angles is simply beautiful and absolutely inspirational.
